Coleridge Bridge - ICE Awards

We are proud to announce one of the projects that we provided ecological advice and oversaw the construction phase has been nominated for the "Civil Engineering Small Project of the Year Award 2012". Michael Woods Associates undertook various baseline surveys, including bat emergence and activity surveys and otter surveys to inform on the various ecological impacts of this bridge which forms part o f the Sustrans network.

Community involvement, public and private sector skills worked together to build Coleridge Bridge over the River Ottery to join the communities of Ottery St Mary. Environmental protection and biodiversity enhancement were at the core of the projects guiding principals.
