Work conducted

Surveys, habitat creation, trapping for translocation, construction of release pens, advice on habitat management and monitoring.

The following works have recently been carried out:

• Repeated surveys, mitigation for engineering works and monitoring of the Rivers Tone and Parrett and associated tributaries and drains.

• Survey of ditches along a proposed cycle path route near Chichester, Sussex.

• Survey and habitat management advice as part of a biofuels development near Henstridge, Somerset.

• Survey and habitat creation for translocation at Melksham, Wiltshire.

• Survey of ditches near Bridgwater, Somerset, provision of advice on the exclusion of water voles along a small stretch of ditch while a small bridge and culvert were installed.
