We carry out a wide variety of surveys ranging from individual species to detailed Phase 2 studies and from a single barn to large green/brownfield sites.

Please feel free to contact us to discuss your specific requirements.

  • Species surveys – including plants, birds, reptiles such as slow worms, amphibians such as great crested newts, mammals, notably badgers, bats, dormice, otters and water voles, and invertebrates such as butterflies and dragonflies.
  • Habitat surveys - extended Phase 1 and 2 surveys, NVC surveys, hedgerow and river corridor surveys, freshwater and coastal surveys.
  • Designing and implementing management plans and mitigation – including habitat creation, restoration and translocation, creation of suitable refuges for a wide range of species such as artificial badger setts, and species translocation and monitoring schemes.
  • Production of suitable reports – for Biodiversity Action Plans, Environmental Statements, Ecological Impact Assessments, ecological appraisals for planning applications and advising on maximising ecological credits for BREEAM and EcoHomes projects.
