Nut searches, nest tube and nest box surveys and monitoring, habitat assessment, mitigation including exclusion, translocation and habitat modification and enhancement. Assisting clients to obtain Natural England and National Assembly for Wales licences and carrying out post-development monitoring.

The following works have recently been carried out under licence where necessary:

• Obtaining a licence to permit a major road diversion through dormouse habitat on the Devon coast.

• Survey by nut search to establish the prescence of dormice near Tisbury, Wiltshire. Hedgerows subsequently translocated under licence as part of a mitigation package.

• Provide technical advice on habitat management in relation to dormice on trunk roads and motorways in the South-West.

• Obtain a licence for a major new access to a site in Marlborough.
