Work conducted

Badger surveys, bait marking and reverse bait marking studies, applications to and obtaining badger licences from, Natural England and the Countryside Council for Wales, construction of artificial setts and closure of setts under licence, supervision of excavation works close to setts.

The following works have recently been carried out under licence where necessary:

Supervision of demolition and construction work near badger setts at Yeovil and Stogursey in Somerset and Kidderminster.

Supervision of deep piling near a main badger sett in Weston-super-Mare.

Badger survey and construction of an artificial sett at Yate, South Gloucestershire.

Reverse bait-marking studies for badgers at Filton, Bristol and Crewkerne, Somerset.

Badger bait marking & food resource assessment for five social groups and construction of an artificial sett near Swansea
